One consequence of an ageing population is an ageing workforce. Currently, there are limited solutions that facilitate workplace productivity, increase digital literacy and capabilities, and broker valuable skill-sharing between an experienced ageing workforce and the younger generation.
Aim: Develop visibility and awareness of the central role that older adults play in the workforce and seek to increase or sustain workplace participation for Australians as they transition from midlife to late-life.
Approach: Co-design and develop programs to optimise engagement and provide support (including through the development of screening and management tools, digital literacy programs, and facilitating skill-sharing and mentorship) to promote adaptive and productive workplaces for adults as they age
